bouxes [bow•kuh•siz] are feline like animals that are strictly herbivores and strongly refuse and sometimes vomit at other animals' meat. they generally have very big and cushiony fur all over which helps them stay warm in cold climates. Their size range is very big they can grow up to a whole 162cm, although the general size for a boux stays at about 124cm and 64cm for their young. Their main diet consists of various amounts of fruit, as it is their preferred food. Although they eat a large amount of fruit they mainly eat exotic fruit due to their natural habitats having the right conditions for it.
Even though they live in very hot climates and carry around a whole ton of fur they manage to keep cool by making burrows. In very hot areas they have created whole underground systems reaching a few dozen acres.
they are VERY clingy and always need attention which leads them to have very bad separation anxiety with their families and children. Since they are very antisocial they don't specifically enjoy being around other species and much prefer being in the comfort of their own kind. bouxes are a very energetic species and love being in the sun because they need to photosynthesize, even young bouxes spend their entire childhood out in the sun because of how much energy it gives them.
they carry around these large boxes on their heads which at a certain age are decided by the purpose or favourite interest which form in a small symbol on the front of their boxes.
